Annika’s style extends from her wardrobe to her work: her knack for turning plain documents into designed masterpieces has earned her the spot as head of the “Make it Pretty Committee.” When she’s not turning dust into diamonds, she’s playing in the best of both worlds: digital marketing and public relations. Annika combines her creativity with data-driven strategies to generate rock-solid results for WildRock’s clients, whether that’s with a digital ad, social media content, or influencer relationships.

Before joining the WildRock team, Annika held positions nationwide in the hospitality, tourism and nonprofit industries. Her past experience includes positions at the Connecticut Convention Center, Travel Tacoma, Clarus Eye Centre and Susan G. Komen where she has worn many hats and done everything from building social channels from the ground-up to launching new websites, garnering media placements, planning events, and taking design to the next level.

What is mantra or words to live by?

“Where there’s a whisk, there’s a way.” When all else fails, you can also be sure in the exactness and absoluteness of combining ingredients together to make something delicious.

What is your cocktail of choice?

The Strange Brew (It’s gin, velvet falernum, pineapple juice, lemon juice and topped with an IPA). It’s fruity, bright and sweet with a touch of bitter. It combines my two favorite things: cocktails and beer.
