AKINZ

Akinz was founded in 2005 in a studio apartment in Huston, TX with the wings logo and accompanying motto “Find your wings.” The Akinz motto encourages men and women to find the one thing that motivates them to push life to the limit and reach for the sky. Akinz partnered with WildRock to take their relatively unknown brand to the next level though public relations support, which then expanded to include digital marketing and SEO efforts to increase website traffic.

Our Approach

WildRock Public Relations & Marketing came alongside Akinz, a Fort Collins boutique offering handmade apparel and accessories, to launch a holiday PR campaign, targeting outdoor and lifestyle outlets. The goal was to increase brand awareness as well as drive holiday shopping. Akinz's goal was 8-10 national, online placements. As a result of WildRock's efforts, we garnered more than the 10 required placements reaching over 1,700,000 people in outlets including Women’s Running Magazine, Outside Magazine, Active Gear Review and more. The Akinz website also saw a 20 percent increase in organic search traffic at the end of the campaign.
