CATTLE BARON'S BALL

The Cattle Baron’s Ball of Northern Colorado is an annual event hosted by the American Cancer Society to raise money for cancer research. The event was hosted virtually and in person at a private ranch in Windsor, CO with a guest count of 800 people and a special headliner, Phil Vassar.

Our Approach

WildRock came alongside the Cattle Barron's Ball team with the goal to raise more awareness and money for the American Cancer Society through communications support, social media strategy and public relations. WildRock developed and distributed a press release announcing a mid-event update on fundraising goals targeting Northern Colorado and Denver media, filmed multiple videos of cancer survivors and key committee members to publicize, drafted and distributed public service announcements and made submissions to local event calendars and chamber newsletters to generate community awareness. WildRock also contributed messaging support, content creation and hashtag strategy for Cattle Baron Ball's organic social media channels, as well as digital advertising to gain more virtual donations.

Cattle Baron Ball's goal was to raise $1M. With the support of WildRock's efforts, they raised $1,076,000 for cancer research.
