SOUTH FORT COLLINS SANITATION DISTRICT

South Fort Collins Sanitation District has provided water reclamation services to businesses and citizens since 1964. Serving over 60,000 customers, the District’s mission is to protect the environment while providing wastewater reclamation services to customers at a high value. SFCSD initially reached out to WildRock for assistance with raising awareness about water reclamation. Our partnership then expanded to support the District with communications it established itself as a separately staffed district in 2023.

Our Approach

WildRock began our partnership with SFCSD in 2019. Initial communications were designed to promote water reclamation topics and generate interest in a vital, but often ignored, public utility. To reach a diverse customer base, WildRock leveraged a variety of communication tactics including social media, digital and print newsletters, billing inserts and blogs. In late 2022, the District formed a separately staffed district which required additional communications with customers to ensure a smooth transition for billing and account processes. WildRock quickly ramped up communication efforts to increase both frequency and the number of channels utilized to ensure customers were properly communicated with in advance of changes.
