Hey There, July!

Summer 2014 is already becoming one for the books! If you’ve asked any of the rockstars lately how things are going, chances are you’ve heard a standard response: “Busy. But good-busy!”
So busy in fact, that we haven’t had the chance to officially share some pretty monumental news that happened around here back in May. WildRock was chosen by Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as a Silver Pick Award winner for excellence in media relations efforts in the consumer tech industry. The program honors the achievements of individuals and organizations for best practices and high ethical standards in the public relations field – it was truly an honor to be selected by our industry peers for this acknowledgement.
Our CEO and Founder Kristin Golliher attended the award ceremony in Denver, where she accepted WildRock’s Silver Pick amongst more than 200 PR professionals, presented by PRSA President Julie Scott and 9News Anchor Gary Shapiro. It was a memorable evening!
Our summer has also been highlighted with some amazing events we’ve helped organize, including the grand opening launch of a new restaurant in Old Town, The Lodge, and partnering with the incredibly talented folks at Colorado State University, Blue Ocean Enterprises and OtterBox for the first-ever CSU Blue Ocean Enterprises Entrepreneurial Challenge.
We also have had the pleasure of introducing a new element to the WildRock culture – the summer Talent Incubator! This year we have had the privilege of welcoming a team of four bright and creative interns to the crew, and it has been a joy to have their energy and laughter light up our newly expanded office space. They’ve brought some new enthusiasim to our nonprofit and pro-bono clients, and with their help, we plan to get back into a regular posting schedule to keep the blog filled with fresh content over the next several months!
We can’t wait to see what the rest of summer (and 2014) has in store for the WildRock team. What has been keeping you busy this summer?
