Founder & CEO – Bringing award-winning expertise, Kristin drives results and team success.
Kristin is set at mach 10 speed – always thinking fast for clients. Focused on big picture strategic thinking, Kristin is the idea person. She started on the ground floor of OtterBox and was instrumental in building the public relations and marketing department, as well as re-strategizing the brand into the powerhouse it is today. With a lifelong entrepreneurial dream, Kristin founded WildRock PR & Marketing in 2012 to bring wildly imaginative, rock solid results to local, national and global brands.
Among many honors, Kristin has been recognized as a Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado (2016), Northern Colorado Superwoman (2016), 40 Under Forty (2013), and a Women of Distinction finalist (2013). She has led her team to success with year-over-year recognition from the Public Relations Society of America—4 Gold and 2 Silver Pick Awards (2016), 2 Gold and 2 Silver Pick Awards (2015), and a Silver Pick Award (2014)—as well as accolades from her alma mater, Colorado State University, with a Cammy & Cammy Maximus Award (2016).
President & Partner – An expert strategist, Alicia infuses innovation with her passion for people to create wildly successful campaigns.
Driven by results and client satisfaction, Alicia is an experienced industry professional and has established herself as a thought leader in the world of targeted public relations and marketing. As a former journalist, Alicia wrote award-winning feature series and stories at the Xenia Daily Gazette and Loveland Reporter-Herald. After journalism, Alicia’s career path took her to McWHINNEY, a real estate development company, where she spearheaded all electronic and website communications, doubling McWHINNEY’s website traffic through eNewsletters and link referrals. Alicia later moved over to OtterBox, a global consumer products company, where she oversaw email and mobile marketing. At OtterBox, Alicia introduced innovative ideas such as QR codes and SMS messaging.
Today, Alicia develops creative and goal-oriented strategies for WildRock clients, consistently facilitating in our growth and helping build client relationships. She also manages WildRock team members, helping them to truly shine and produce award-winning and industry recognized campaigns. Alicia is certified in email marketing from the DMA, SEO from the Search Engine College and GoogleAdWords training from LunaMetrics.
Social Media Specialist – Thriving on pioneering new and innovative ideas, Kristin drives solutions.
As an early technology adopter, Kristin has seen social media grow into the essential and influential communication tool it is today. Through her past work, she has developed campaigns for a variety of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Mail Chimp. Kristin is also an expert in her field with 12 years of writing as a journalist and copywriter; 12 years of planning and executing events; 10 years of WordPress site development; 9 years of owning and running her own local website and company; and 5 years of creating marketing campaigns including international collaboration for digital marketing strategies.
While owning and running her website, Kristin helped grow the business into a significant community through social media, evolving it into a full media network of 12 websites with multiple writers. On top of her successes there, Kristin’s work during her writing career was featured in top-tier national and local publications including USA Today, Reuters, FOX News; and local outlets including Fort Collins Magazine, Scene Magazine and a column with The Coloradoan and Style Magazine.
Account Executive – Mastering the creativity and light behind words and design.
Amanda’s adventurous approach allows her to take on all things public relations and marketing with a new twist. Her broad background in for-profit, non-profit and as a volunteer have allowed her to deeply understand organizational goals and elevate brands in a variety of industries, with a variety of needs.
As a past Communications Manager for Make-A-Wish Colorado, Journalist for Washington Park Profile and Communications Manager for the Office of Governor, John Hickenlooper, Amanda is a recognized leader in her career and understands the importance of effective communication in a digital age. Today, she uses this knowledge to push brands forward utilizing the power of public relations and social media, as well as copywriting. Amanda also specializes in design to help brands shine through their collateral with pieces such as postcards, brochures and digital designs.
Amanda has an appetite and track record for success. She has landed top-tier nationally recognized coverage in publications, consistently increased social media impressions and engagements for countless WildRock clients, engaged in brand refreshes, and consistently produces email marketing campaigns with higher than average open rates.
Client Support Manager – Blending words and images, Annika tells brand’s stories.
Annika’s talent rests in details, where she plays with creative mediums to garner great successes. Her powerhouse ranges from public relations and marketing to communications and design and everything in between. Before joining the WildRock team, Annika had previous positions across the nation in the hospitality, tourism and nonprofit industries. Her past experience includes positions the Connecticut Convention Center, Visit Tacoma, Clarus Eye Centre and Susan G. Komen where she wrote and pitched customized releases; distributed over 2,000 e-mail marketing messages; developed strategy, objectives and tactics; and more.
Her nationally-based knowledge ranges from the West Coast to the East Coast and now Colorado. Annika also brings experience in graphic design and branding, having worked on various campaigns in the design space. Having contacts across the U.S., she is a key player in larger, national campaigns for WildRock. Along with media relations, Annika had a fundamental customer satisfaction piece in her previous industries which has aided her commitment to exceeding expectations and delighting clients.
Account Coordinator – A hard-working opportunist, Lauren takes campaigns to new levels.
Lauren’s unbridled passion for her work complements her commitment to excellence. After doing freelance public relations and marketing for a handful of companies, Lauren proved her ability to effortlessly balance tasks, brand voices and strategic thinking to help clients outshine the competition.
Skilled in the art of words, Lauren excels at content creation for a variety of mediums. At WildRock, Lauren has been a key player in winning awards for multiple clients in the media relations category by landing placements in top-tier publications including Heavy, Bisnow, BestProducts.com and PopSugar. She is also a natural communicator, aiding in her ability to reach a vast audience and build upon new and existing relationships. With this talent, she has been the brain behind media tours for various WildRock clients across the nation, assisting in the content and conversation pieces with media members.
Business Support Specialist – Playing in the details, Claire is always a step ahead of the game.
With a supportive personality style, Claire strives to help WildRock, its clients and her teammates reach a new level of success. Her talent lies in the specifics, where she excels from giving documents the eagle eye to planning events and appointments with expertise.
WildRock welcomed Claire as an intern in 2012 upon first opening its doors. After finishing her degree, she spent several years in the non-profit industry at both Project Self-Sufficiency and Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, then found her way back to WildRock to help grow the business. She spearheads client onboarding, planning, management and relationship building and is a known wordsmith with the ability to craft creative and compelling content for a wide-range of industries.
Administrative Assistant – Rising to the challenge, Laura exceeds goals and expectations.
With a passion for public relations and marketing, as well as a drive for hitting goals, Laura continues to elevate the team and clients at WildRock. With experience in various industries including sports, parenting and food and beverage spaces, Laura has demonstrated an ability to dive deep to understand goals and expectations for projects that come her way. Her strong sense of responsibility, which supports her passion for helping, is a true win for clients and the WildRock team.
Bringing a new perspective and fresh voice to social media, blogs and other marketing mediums, Laura has found her niche in creative writing. She also brings expertise in the day-to-day, focusing on internal WildRock projects.
